Koziol
1927 Bernhard Koziol
senior opens a workshop in the German town of Erbach in the Odenwald Forest.
Initially he makes ivory carvings, but soon starts working with plastics.
1935 A new injection molding machine
allows plastic products to be manufactured in quantity. Thermoplastic and
transparent materials afford new opportunities.
1951 The world's first Dream Globe appears on the
market, the same type sold today under the registered trademark ""Traumkugel®"".
Demand for Koziol plastic products grows steadily.The souvenir business booms.
1982 The brothers Stephan and Bernhard
Koziol junior assume management of the company. The product range is reoriented,
with a new emphasis on young,contemporary trend items.
1992 With its ""ideas for friends"" Koziol positions
itself in the gift market segment.
1999 200 staff are happily engaged in developing, producing and marketing sensually and sensibly designed gift ideas.
